On 29 April 2026, Maison MGA reached a key milestone for French industrial sovereignty by inaugurating its new facilities in Mably.
As part of the event ‘Building the Healthcare Industry of the Future’, we officially opened a state-of-the-art cleanroom dedicated to Techbio, molecular biology, microfluidics and optronics. This new industrial facility aims to accelerate the industrialisation of new therapies and in vitro diagnostics.
State-of-the-art infrastructure for life sciences engineering
One year after being awarded the ‘Vitrine Industrie du Futur’ label, MGA MedTech is bringing its technological vision to fruition. This new infrastructure, designed in collaboration with French partners, is divided into two zones with stringent requirements:
- ISO 7 Zone: Dedicated to microfluidics and optoelectronics for the prototyping and assembly of miniaturised systems.
- ISO 8 Zone: Specifically configured for molecular biology, particularly DNA analysis and quality control, ensuring total control over contamination.
La French Fab takes centre stage in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
The day also saw the induction of the new La French Fab Ambassadors for the region. Led by Julien Noronha (Executive Director at Bpifrance), this ceremony strengthened the ties within the local industrial ecosystem around the “Coq Bleu” movement.
An ecosystem of experts for the medicine of the future
The event brought together leading experts for forward-looking talks on the future of medicine:
- Gene therapies and mRNA excellence, featuring speakers from The Drug Cell and Sanofi.
- Immunology and nano-bioanalysis, featuring HCL and Myriade.
- The future of automated cell culture systems presented by MGA MedTech.
“With the inauguration of this cleanroom, we are reaffirming our mission: to transform scientific breakthroughs into industrial realities in our region. It is here, in Mably, that the future of biotechnology in France is being built.” – Hervé de Malliard, President of Maison MGA.
