BIG2026 – the BANG: Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes has talent, audacity and heart!
At BIG last Thursday, La French Fab, Les Conseillers du Commerce extérieur de la France, la Société d’Encouragement pour l’Industrie Nationale and our entrepreneurs showcased a region that does not simply dream about industry: it builds it, passes it on and reinvents it. These are stories of families, audacity, expertise and the future. It is solid, vibrant and dazzling!
It all began with Sophie Sidos and Guy Sidos, a warm and close-knit duo, with Sophie’s ancestor, Louis Vicat, inventor of artificial cement, and their children looking on fondly. At Vicat too, industry is a story of heritage and love. Sophie and Guy Sidos look back on this family adventure.
Then Caroline Delloye, who began her career in Mexico, tells us about her passion for industry at Gonzalez. The finest industrial adventures sometimes begin where you least expect them – with strawberries!
Well, not that kind. Discover her story.
At PIGNAT, Alex MAUCORS combines glassblowing expertise with process development through digital twins. The art of craftsmanship meets the power of virtual technology!
Get ready to be blown away!
Pierre-Louis CHIZELLE chose industrial metalworking and is building an inspiring venture with NSN Industrie and Remi. Entrepreneurship also means daring to take up the torch on your own terms – and it takes real audacity to venture into industrial metalworking! Discover his journey in this video.
Clementine COLIN RICHARD takes us through the family history of Paraboot, where Made in France is worn with pride and where the Label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) – L’excellence des savoir-faire français honours skills and traditions built to last. Congratulations!
In Haut-Bugey, Cyrille and LES FILS DE CYRILLE DUCRET keep their passion for wood and passing on their expertise alive at the heart of the sawmill.
An industry with deep roots and its sights set firmly on the future!
With Coline Bertrand, LA ROSEE shines a spotlight on cosmetics born in Lyon. Simplicity, commitment and female entrepreneurship also have their place in the great industrial adventure. Discover her story!
And then there is Tony Parker, an outstanding champion turned entrepreneur, reminding us that ambition knows no limits! Applause!
Finally, yours truly – a little emotional and still driven by the same audacity: the audacity to build, to dare and to believe in our strengths as we shape the future of TechBio at Maison MGA!
Our region does not simply shine.
It lights the way to the future.
Long live our entrepreneurs! Long live La French Fab! Long live Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes!
