On Friday, June 5, 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, to our Civrieux-d’Azergues site as part of his visit to the Lyon area focused on major industrial, technological, and healthcare challenges.
This visit provided an opportunity to showcase the expertise of our teams and our commitment to developing innovative solutions for the pharmaceutical industry and sterile environments. Throughout the tour, our employees presented several operating systems and shared their know-how in cleanroom robotics and the automation of critical processes.
Maison MGA – A French company with an international outlook
This meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the challenges currently facing European industry, as well as the growing influence of China and the United States. “Industry does not only produce goods. It produces sovereignty, employment, cohesion, and hope,” stated Hervé de Malliard, CEO of MGA Technologies.
Today, Maison MGA generates a significant share of its business internationally and supports numerous industrial projects across Europe and worldwide. Geopolitical tensions, supply chain issues, and the availability of electronic components have become strategic challenges for our entire industrial ecosystem.
We also highlighted the importance of sustainably supporting scientific research, innovation, and European industrial capabilities in order to preserve our technological competitiveness in the years ahead.
The Minister’s visit represents genuine recognition for all our teams and for the work carried out every day at our Civrieux-d’Azergues site. “I am very pleased to visit this outstanding company during a day dedicated to global health in the Lyon area. It demonstrates that France has all the assets required to secure its place among the world leaders,” Jean-Noël Barrot told Le Progrès.
The visit also illustrates the role that French industrial companies can play in the fields of healthcare, automation, and advanced technologies. At Maison MGA, we are convinced that industrial innovation, driven by committed teams and advanced technologies, is a key lever for addressing the healthcare and technological challenges of tomorrow.
We would like to thank Ms. BROCARD, Member of Parliament for our constituency, for inviting the Minister to our region, as well as the entire delegation that accompanied her, brilliantly coordinated by the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Prefecture under the leadership of the Regional Prefect.
