The media outlet Lyon Éco & Culture highlights the ENVOL project, a major technological breakthrough to which we are proud to be actively contributing.
The ENVOL project (Epidermis Neurone Vascularization On digital Library) continues to make headlines in the Lyon ecosystem. Recently featured by Lyon Éco & Culture, this ambitious program aims to redefine biocompatibility testing standards for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors.The goal? To create a 3D skin model that is both innervated and immunocompetent, offering an ethical and ultra-precise alternative to animal testing.

Our Industrial Contribution

As part of the consortium led by Groupe Icare, and alongside the LBTI laboratory and the startup Netri, our role is central. Through our entity MGA MedTech, we provide our precision engineering expertise to design the technological infrastructure required for these “organs-on-a-chip.”

Specifically, we are involved in:

  • The development of high-tech measurement instruments.
  • The manufacturing of technical consumables essential for test reliability.

A Regional and Scientific Challenge

Supported by the France 2030 plan and the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region with a 2-million-euro investment, this project confirms our commitment to industrial excellence and healthcare innovation at the heart of our territory.
