Engineering Day in Lyon

Engineering Day in Lyon

Centrale Lyon, INSA Lyon – Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, and École des Mines de Saint-Étienne form the Lyon-Saint-Etienne Engineering College. Together, they represent a force of 1,300 researchers and professor-researchers, 11,000 engineering students, 1,100 doctoral candidates, and 12% of scientific publications.

The objective of this day is clear:
to place engineering at the service of transitions to address three priority societal challenges:
– Decarbonized industry and society,
– A circular and virtuous economy,
– A responsible digital society.

Complex systems engineering addresses the major challenges of the 21st century: energy, sovereignty, artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, health, biology, and biodiversity. The engineer is the cornerstone of a better world that respects humanity, living beings, and the planet. Bringing together this community of those who can innovate for technological and social progress is essential. Thank you!

Thank you to the organizers, partners, sponsors, participants, students, scientists, researchers, academics, and all those who continue to look to the future with hope and temperance.

With all the scientific, academic, and industrial power available here, it is the embodiment of a world-class force:
LYON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, capable of addressing the sovereign challenges of the future.

Nathalie Dompnier, Pascal RAY, Jacques Fayolle, Frédéric Fotiadu: Thank you!

Three organizations to which I am linked support this day: MEDEF Lyon-Rhône, ONLYLYON, and UIMM LYON-FRANCE.

Maison MGA is happy to participate in this beautiful and inspiring day.
