After last year’s recognition of the Nio+™ (now QX700 by Bio-Rad) manufactured by the company, the 2025 Grande Exposition du Fabriqué en France at the Élysée once again highlights the expertise of the French industrial ecosystem. This year, the AseptiWeld L from Maison MGA has been selected to represent the Rhône, generating a strong sense of collective pride.
The message emphasises the power of shared achievement: the quiet joy of seeing how far a team has come, and the energy that emerges when everyone realises success was only possible through unity. This collective pride is described as the driving force behind strong teams and major industrial, scientific and human accomplishments.
The story also pays tribute to a remarkable 25-year collaboration with Sanofi, the original inventor of the sterile connector. At the time, choosing a small company from the Azergues Valley to prototype, develop and manufacture these machines for global use required vision – long before single-use technologies reshaped biopharma processes. That partnership led to breakthrough innovations such as MODULUS, the “Facility of the Future”, deployed in Neuville-sur-Saône and Singapore.
Being present together at the Élysée symbolises decades of shared effort, advanced engineering and persistence. It reflects a virtuous ecosystem where large and small players unite to transform bioproduction, making vaccine manufacturing more sustainable, more productive and safer for patients.
